Berkeley House
The Berkeley house, nominated as best small hotel 2006, 2007, 2008, is a small, friendly, owner managed, hotel with 22 rooms. All rooms are simply decorated and spacious. Breakfasts in the friendly dining room are an experience and all diets are catered for. Guests are made to feel at home and can relax in the lounge on the first floor overlooking Douglas bay or sit with their tea/coffee on the hotel steps and watch the sunrise/set, or simply watch the world go by.
The hotel is situated on the seafront in the centre of Douglas opposite the sunken gardens and within walking distance to the ferry terminal and most places of interest e.g. tourist information centre, Manx museum, Gaiety theatre, shops restaurants, pubs and the business/finance centre.
This is not just another hotel it is a friendly, relaxing experience, you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend.

Directions
From Ferry Terminal
Walk along the picturesque seafront for 8-10 minutes. Cars, bikes and cyclists must drive/ride along the road on the seafront for about 4 minutes, park in the parking spaces across the road from the hotel. Bicycles may be stored in the hotel by arrangement.
From the Airport
From Ronaldsway airport, about a 30 minute ride by bus or a 20 minute drive by hired car or taxi through beautiful scenery to the seafront in Douglas. The hotel is on Loch promenade, parking is across the road, parking discs are provided
